How to make Gajar (Carrot) Ka Halwa?

Gajar Ka Halwa is a classical Indian dessert, this is also known as gajrala. Gajar ka Halwa is a perfect dessert for any celebration.


INGREDIENTS

  • Carrot : 50 gm
  • Ghee : 5 gm
  • Sugar : 10 gm
  • Milk : 150 ml
  • Elachi : 1 pinch
  • Almond : 15 gm

PREPARATION
Step 1
Wash, peel and grate the carrots (gajar).

Step 2
Mix the almond milk or regular dairy milk and grated carrot together in a pan. Keep on fire and allow the mixture to simmer. Continue to simmer and cook stirring in between. After 15-20 minutes add cardamom powder and stir.
