Gajar Halwa

Gajar Ka Halwa is a classical Indian dessert, this is also known as gajrala. Gajar ka Halwa is a perfect dessert for any celebration. 


INGREDIENTS

Carrot : 50 gm

Ghee : 5 gm

Sugar : 10 gm

Milk : 150 ml

Elachi : 1 pinch

Almond : 15 gm


PREPARATION

Step 1

Wash, peel and grate the carrots (gajar).

Step 2

Mix the almond mil k or regular dairy milk and grated carrot together in a pan. Keep on fire and allow the mixture to simmer. Continue to simmer and cook stirring in between. After 15-20 minutes add cardamom powder and stir.
