Almond milk is a plant milk manufactured from almonds with a creamy texture and nutty flavour. Almond Milk helps in weight management and keeps bones healthy. It consists of vitamins and minerals like vitamin D and calcium. Some almond milk also come with pea protein, which boosts protein level.

It can be used with morning cereal or can be blended for smoothies. It makes a good low-calorie base for smoothies. If you want to take smoothies between meals or as a meal replacement, almond milk can make it more filling. It will add flavour and boost the amount of proteins, vitamins and minerals. It is rich in anti-oxidant, moreover it boosts the absorption of anti-oxidants.

It's very easy to make Almond milk at home, if you are not up for the processed milk available in stores. They generally constitute less almonds than required.
