Summer custard recipes:

Fruit trifle.

This creamy, dreamy custard fruit trifle is the perfect summer dessert! Layers of fresh fruit, fluffy whipped cream, and rich custard make this trifle a showstopper. The best part? It's so easy to make!

Ingredients required:
  • Sponge cake Square fatless 8 inches
  • Mixed fruit jam 2 tablespoon
  • Juice from tinned mixed fruit 4 tablespoon
  • Ripe mango cubed 1 piece
  • Vanilla custard 11/2 cup
  • Whipped cream 1 1/2 cup
Steps for making:
  1. Mix fruit jam with 1 tbsp warm water and pass through a fine sieve to get a smooth mixture.
  2. Halve the cake horizontally and then cut one half into smaller pieces.
  3. Arrange a few pieces at the base of stemmed glasses.
  4. Sprinkle a little fruit juice over them. Top with mixed fruits and mango cubes.
  5. Blend 1 cup custard and ½ cup whipped cream and pour over the top of the fruits.
  6. From the remaining half of the cake cut out round slices to fit the rim of the glasses. Place it over the rim and sprinkle some fruit juice over it.
  7. Mix the remaining custard with the remaining cream and spread it over top of the cake piece and smoothen it.
  8. Put the jam in a butter paper cone and pipe it out thinly in circles, beginning from the centre to the outer edge of the cake piece.
  9. Using a toothpick make a web like design and chill. Serve chilled.
Custard kulfi.

Hello kulfi lovers, here’s your perfect indulgence. Don’t wait for the vendor to call you for the treat, prepare it at home easily.

Ingredients required:
  • 2¼ cups milk (full cream)
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp custard powder
  • ¼ cup thickened cream / amul cream
  • Handful of tutti frutti / any dry fruits
Steps for making:
  1. Firstly, in a large kadai boil 2 cups of milk stirring occasionally.
  2. Add in ¼ cup sugar and stir well.
  3. Further in a small bowl dissolve 2 tbsp custard powder in ¼ cup milk.
  4. Stir well to get lump free custard milk.
  5. Keeping the flame on low, add in prepared custard milk.
  6. Stir continuously, else milk curdles.
  7. Keep stirring till the milk thickens well. Keep aside to cool completely.
  8. In another bowl take in ¼ cup thickened cream / amul cream.
  9. Beat well with a whisk or hand blender till stiff peaks appear.
  10. Further, add in prepared custard milk once it is cooled completely.
  11. Mix well making sure the milk and whipped cream is well combined.
  12. Beat well with a whisk or hand blender for a minute. this helps the custard ice cream to form more creamy.
  13. Add in a handful of tutti frutti / any dry fruits and mix well.
  14. Transfer the prepared mixture into popsicle moulds.
  15. Cover with the lid and freeze for 8 hours or till it sets completely.
  16. Now dip the popsicle in hot water for 10 seconds, to easily remove.
  17. Finally, serve custard popsicle or custard ice cream and enjoy the summer.
Custard Milkshake.

This Custard Milkshake is the perfect summer treat! Made with just a few simple ingredients, it's rich, creamy, and totally delicious.

Ingredients required:
For custard.
  • ¼ cup custard powder (Pista flavoured)
  • 4 cup milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ¼ cup Pistachios 
For serving.
  • 1 cup prepared custard
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 2 scoop pista ice cream
  • 4 tbsp sabja/ basil seeds (soaked)
  • 2 tbsp tutti frutti
  • 2 tbsp rooh afza
  • 4 tbsp nuts (chopped)
For Pista custard preparation:
  1. Firstly, in a large bowl take ¼ cup custard powder and 4 cup milk.
  2. Whisk and mix well making sure there are no lumps.
  3. Pour the mixture into a large kadai.
  4. Cook on medium flame stirring continuously.
  5. Once the mixture comes to a boil add pista piieces. 
  6. Also, add ¼ cup sugar and mix well.
  7. Keep cooking until the mixture thickens. Takes approximately 6 minutes.
  8. Cool completely, and transfer to a large bowl.
  9. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes or until the custard thickens further.
For custard milkshake:
  1. In a blender take 1 cup prepared custard, 1½ cup milk and 2 scoop pista ice cream.
  2. Blend to a thick milkshake. You can also add ice cubes if you wish.
  3. Now take a tall glass, and add 2 tbsp sabja and 1 tbsp tutti frutti at the bottom of the glass.
  4. Further, pour 1 tbsp rooh afza covering the wall of glass. this makes the milkshake look attractive.
  5. Pour in a prepared milkshake to top of the glass.
  6. Add 2 tbsp nuts into it and scoop a pista ice cream.
  7. Further, garnish with rooh afza and top with few tutti frutti.
  8. Finally, enjoy pista custard milkshake chilled.
